It is a very pretty bracelet, similar to the ones we wore in the 80s. I am hopeful it will last a substantial amount of time. I will point out ladies that the 6.5 is definitely for a very small wrist. I wear i size 6 on my wedding finger to gage the size of my wrist. I did have to navigate to close the clasp my self. I wear a lot of jewelry and I can honestly say it does fit more snug on my wrist than my other bracel
